Creating the perfect climate to work in
Creating the right climate for your office, shop or working area is a complex matter. Several factors determine which equipment is the best solution for you. Seefold Engineering can help and guide you through the selection process. If your existing air conditioning is struggling to keep you cool, or your offices / shop could benefit from being cooler, simply call 01733 204666 and we will arrange for a Technical Engineer to visit you and discuss the air conditioning options available to you.
The following points will help you with the air conditioning selection process.
1. To what extent do you want to control the indoor climate?
Do you want cooling only? Or do you also want ventilation and /or heating? The choice will determine the type of system.
2. How many rooms?
The number of rooms will determine the system. In case of more than one room it is possible to connect several indoor units to one outdoor unit.
3. Which kind of room(s) / working environment?
What kind of room / building are you trying to cool. A shop? An executive office? A boardroom A comms room? Each application requires its own system. Seefold Engineering can identify which is the most suitable air conditioning system for you.
4. Cooling Capacity?
A system with too high capacity will lead to draught, fluctuating temperatures and high energy bills. With a too low capacity you will never reach the desired temperature. Seefold Engineering can work with you to calculate the capacity and identify the right systems for your needs. Seefold Engineering will take into account the influences on the capacity needs like solar infiltration, lighting, number of occupants, footfall etc.
5. Location of the outdoor unit?
The outdoor unit should get an appropriate place, on a solid base and be accessible for maintenance.
6. Location of the indoor unit?
The choice of the model will be determined by the possibilities to place the unit. Is there a false ceiling? Is there free space on the wall? Etc. The location of the air conditioning unit is of great importance, each unit has its own air distribution pattern. A wrong location may lead to a draught, incorrect readings or excessive noise.
7. Air purification?
The dust particles floating in the air can be removed by means of filters in the indoor units. Depending on the level of filtration required different filters are available.
8. Installation of the air conditioning system
Seefold Engineering will calculate, draw up and install the required system according to your needs. Our skilled engineers will ensure you have an air conditioning system that ideally meet your needs.
